Chitral gets its first female SHO
Breaking the glass ceiling, for the first time ever in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chitral district, a policewoman has been posted as the station house officer (SHO) of the Shaghoor Police Station.
After taking charge of her duties as SHO, Dilshad Pari supervised and inspected the situation of all the pending police cases, security checkpoints, and lockups of the Shaghoor Police Station.
Dilshad was recruited as an assistant sub-inspector in the police through the Public Service Commission.
Previously, she was in charge of the women’s desk in Lower Chitral. She is the only KP police officer to secure a prominent position for the third time in the departmental exam of PASI intermediate course of KP Police.
Dilshad was born on November 5th, 1989 in the Boni area of Chitral and pursued her M.SC in Chemistry while she also possesses a degree of LLB.
