WASA gets NOC to install 15 tube wells on Islamabad Expressway

CDA issued a NOC to WASA for the installation of tube wells so it can overcome the current water shortage. Some strict conditions have been issued that 50% of the water from the tube wells will be provided by the CDA. This project is aiming to install 15 tube wells that are worth almost Rs.600 million which will supply 50% of its water to the existing water supply in Islamabad.

The tube wells will be installed at the site by the combined efforts of ICT, CDA and WASA. It is also been said by the sources that the WASA will also install 10 other new tube wells in the green belt of IJ Principal Road to meet the ongoing growing need of drinking water in Rawalpindi.
