A cost of Rs978.78 million has been estimated for the establishment of the Pubi, Khairi Murat, Lal Sohanra, Salt Range, and Chinji national parks under the Green Pakistan Programme.
According to Forest Department officials, the construction will begin in the next financial year and will be completed in 2024. The same department will also pay special focus on the plantation of 10 billion tree projects.
The scope of the recently launched Miyawaki forests scheme will be extended to other cities too.
