PC-1 for road construction from Babu Sabu to Shamshan Ghat underway

The Lahore district administration is preparing PC-1 for the construction of a road from Babu Sabu to Shamshan Ghat. As per the administration, the lack of paved roads leading to the crematorium has caused problems to the Hindu and Sikh communities. In this connection, a committee has been constituted to prepare PC-1 which will be completed in five days and sent to the Punjab government for approval.  According to District Commissioner Lahore Mudassir Riaz, several enclosures have been set up for the Hindu and Sikh communities to perform the last rites of their deceased. In this regard, the members of Hindu and Sikh communities Bashan Singh and Manohar Chand lauded the Federal and Punjab governments for the provision of security and being considerate towards the minorities.
