Pakistan plans to export rice to China
Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) stated that Pakistan was ready to export 3.75 million tons of rice to China after meeting the annual domestic consumption of 2.5 million tons.
The President of PCJCCI reported that China has emerged as one of the destinations for Pakistani rice exports, as reflected in the 244 percent increase in rice exports to the country during the last two years.
In this regard, the PCJCCI has decided to launch a concrete drive to market Pakistani rice by producing a personalized demand among the Chinese people.
The drive was being kicked off considering the surplus after meeting domestic consumption of 2.5 million tons.
