Committee constituted to steer CPEC projects
The government has formulated Pak-China Relations Steering Committee to smoothen the process and remove hurdles in the execution of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, underscoring that Islamabad has already decided to carry out the multibillion-dollar strategic initiative.
“In order to streamline and expedite coordination, finalization, and execution of CPEC projects, the prime minister has been pleased to constitute the Pak-China Relations Steering Committee,” read a letter issued by the PM Office.
The committee comprises 15 members, including representatives of the government, armed forces, and intelligence agencies.
