4000 low-cost residential flats to be built in Islamabad
The Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) has approved a project of building 4,000 low-cost residential flats in Islamabad. In this regard, PC-1 worth Rs15 billion was Okayed by the Capital Development Authority for a low-cost housing apartments project in Alipur Farash. In the first category, 1560 apartments will be constructed, in the second category, 400 apartments for slum dwellers will be built. The project has been planned in congruence with the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide low-cost houses to the people.
