The inauguration of Gwadar International Airport is scheduled to take place soon

The long-awaited inauguration of the new Gwadar International Airport is imminent, marking a significant milestone in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The airport, fully funded by China, spans 18 square kilometers and will be the second-largest in Pakistan.

The project includes runways, terminals, and other essential facilities, with the China Airport Construction Group overseeing management.

After completing safety checks, the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the airport is ready for operation, accommodating various aircraft types for domestic and international flights. The event will witness a high-profile Chinese delegation participating, showcasing the strong collaboration between the two nations in infrastructure development and economic growth.
