Rs12b proposed for Mianwali-Muzaffargarh and Balkasar-Mianwali roads
An amount of Rs12 billion has been put forward for the 400-kilometer Mianwali-Muzaffargarh and Balkadar-Mianwali roads in the next federal budget.
The shabby road was centralized in May last year and was handed over to the National Highway Authority.
The amount of reconstruction of the 286 km Mianwali-Muzaffargarh route has been estimated to be Rs72 billion. Similarly, the rehabilitation project of 119km Balkasar-Mianwali road is around Rs55 billion, and the government is expected to allocate Rs8 billion for the purpose.
