Construction of three medical colleges chalked out, NA body told

The health department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa informed the National Assembly panel about the plan of constructing three medical colleges in the tribal districts on a priority basis. The National Assembly Standing Committee on States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) was enlightened by senior officials of the health department of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government about the progress regarding the provision of health facilities in tribal districts. A consultant has already been hired on the direction of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan for preparing a feasibility report, the official informed the committee in relation to the construction of medical colleges in erstwhile FATA.
