CM Punjab Introduces One Window System for Simple Business Procedures

Lahore: The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, introduced a “One Window System” master plan for easy procedures of businesses while boosting investment and growth of industries in the province.

The comprehensive plan for the latest system has been excellently implemented to facilitate investment opportunities with simplified processes. The One-Window System will also issue the NOCs from relevant departments in one place. It will boost the industries by fast and efficient streamlining of the businesses.

The plan was presented in a meeting chaired by caretaker CM Punjab, and it is hoped that the report will be completed within the due date, i.e., the last day of next month. The one-window system will be functional from the Al-Falah building in Lahore. An online portal will also be created to provide complete information to the businesses, and a dedicated person will be assigned to every concerned department.

The Master Plan of the One Window Operation system is designed to address the issues faced by businesses in Punjab. CM Punjab also said that the system will take cues from prevailing LDA one-window cells to create long-term SOPs.

Numerous relevant officers and ministers attended the meeting, including Chairman PITB, Commissioner Lahore & DG LDA, Director General PITB, PIEDMC, FIEDMC, secretaries from various industries, MD Punjab Small Industries, etc.
