27 CPEC Projects Of $19b Completed
The 27 projects that are worth $19 billion have been successfully completed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC) while the other 63 which are worth $35.2 billion are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2030. The information was revealed by a report, “ Overview of Pakistan’s Power Sector & Its Future Outlook” which was issued by the China Three Gorges South Asia Investment LTD.
The report revealed some interesting information, that almost 27 projects are at their implementation stages which has an investment of $7.7 billion and these projects will be completed by 2025.
Seven more of the projects will be completed by 2030, with a worth of $7.4 billion. The report further stated that other sectors which include International Cooperation, Agriculture, Information Technology, and Science are the new sectors that are added under the mega project of CPEC and all of these are at the planning stage for third-party participation.
