Shahrah Nazaria-e-Pakistan Signal-Free Corridor in Lahore Inaugurated by Chief Minister
Lahore: During the inauguration of the Shahrah Nazaria-e-Pakistan signal-free corridor, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi journeyed over six kilometers, from Canal Road to College Road Amir Chowk, marking a significant moment in the region’s urban development.
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has been instrumental in transforming Shahrah Nazaria-e-Pakistan into a signal-free corridor, a project unveiled by CM Naqvi, who also led the opening prayers. Chief Engineer Israr Saeed provided a detailed presentation on the project, highlighting the strategic placement of seven U-turns to alleviate traffic congestion on this vital road. The project’s swift completion was a focal point of his overview.
Additionally, Chief Engineer Saeed informed the attendees about the five new, along with the two existing, protected U-turns now operational. CM Naqvi praised the LDA team for their efficient and prompt completion of the corridor, acknowledging their efforts and dedication.
