PM launches cadastral map in Islamabad to overcome land grabbing
Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Islamabad’s Cadastral Mapping Project with the aim to curb land record tampering and to ensure transparency and monitoring of construction through imagery.
Speaking at the occasion, he stated that digitization and cadastral mapping of lands would verify ownership of plots and assure transparency in the land record and transactions.
“The digitization of the land record was a big step forward as with the help of a single click, all information about the land will be provided to the user”.
