Pakistan and China likely to Ink CPEC Third Party Participation

Islamabad: China and Pakistan are ready to take big steps in the development of the CPEC project. Both countries are ready to finalize the agreement that will allow third-party initiatives in the development of CPEC projects, including the Belt and Road Forum – BRF.

According to the details, the breakthrough was announced in a meeting conducted by Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Minister. The meeting was conducted to evaluate the progress and development of CPEC projects.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the inclusion of third-party in projects. He stated that they are discussing the inclusion with the Joint Working Group on International Cooperation & Coordination – JWG-ICC.

The Ministry also added that after the final decisions, the announcement will be made, followed by consultation and agreement of both countries.
