KP cabinet gives green signal to housing scheme for deserving people

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has given approval for a housing scheme to allot three and a half Marla plot to destitute families having a monthly income of less than Rs50,000 per month with a return plan of ten years.
The Special Assistant to CM Kamran Bangash told the media that the federal government would provide a subsidy of Rs300,000 on each plot.
The Housing, Revenue and Local government departments were directed to carry out the execution plan on 187 Kanals estate’s land initially in Charsadda district.
He maintained that the government has instructed 29 departments to submit the rules and regulations for agreement before the provincial government within one month.
