After The Successful Test Drive, First Ever Environment-Friendly Electric Buses Will Be Seen On Karachi Roads In Two Weeks

The Sindh government previously announced the launch of the new electric buses, and the test drive run was launched on Monday. The Sindh Information and Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon shared this moment on Twitter. He tweeted, “Transport department government of Sindh is going to start a New Bus service in Karachi. These are Pakistan’s first electrical vehicles that are completely environmentally friendly. From tomorrow we are going to start the test drive in the city.”


He further stated that the survey on routes is underway as of now and soon it will be decided. Alot of efforts are being made to use solar energy for charging the buses. He also congratulated the people of Karachi because it is the first-ever environment-friendly electric buses services. The public transport of Karachi is a huge challenge to overcome with the constant congestion and traffic on the road, but the Singh government is making every effort to solve the issue across the province.
