Construction work on three blocks at University of Haripur begins

Inaugurating the construction work of three new blocks of the University, the Vice-Chancellor University of Haripur Prof Dr. Anwar Gillani showed gratitude and contentment.

Three new blocks including Ibn-i-Khaldan Social Science Block, Al-Khwarizmi Science Block, and Al-Ghazali Central Library will be completed during the first phase of the project.

A total of Rs.212.97 million will be spent on Ibn-i-Khaldun, Rs.206 million on Al-Khwarizmi Science Block and Rs.43.63 million on Al-Ghazali Central Library will be used for the construction.

In the second and third phase, separate hostels for the faculty, male and female students, gymnasium, examination department, vice chancellor’s residence, Students Teacher Center, and roads would be constructed.

The vice-chancellor said the construction of the blocks would add to the existing facilities and help the administration accommodate at least double the number of students and teachers.
