CM Greenlit to Opening Link Road Project by End of January
Lahore: The CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited Gujranwala with cabinet members for the inauguration of key projects, and to inquire about the progress of the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway Link Road. CM gave the green light to open the Link Road project by the end of this month, January 2024.
During his visit, the CM also inaugurated 37 police stations and 5 additional projects. The opening of a flyover at Chan da Qila was one of the notable development projects as it is designed to connect the Expressway with GT Road. Moreover, the CM formed a committee and gave the task with the completion of the flyover at Chan da Qila flyover design.
Moreover, he underscored the government’s commitment to law enforcement while inaugurating the upgraded People’s Colony Police Station in Gujranwala. Adding to the collection of facilities in the region, the CM inaugurated Squash Academy, Gujranwala Gymkhana, and Punjab’s third Business Facilitation Center. Contributing to the development of the area, Mr. Naqvi also laid the foundation of the 17-km long Waziraba-Sialkot Kashmir Road and Gujranwala-Pasrur Road Section Expressway projects.
Besides this, he also examined other development projects including Shahdara flyover project where drainage, landscaping, and drainage works are almost completed.
