Gwadar International Airport To Be Inaugurated On 23rd March Next Year

It was announced by The Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal, that the New Gwadar International Airport will become operational by March 23rd, next year.

The meeting was conducted to discuss and finalize more details about the project such as the pricing model of fares for the airports located in Balochistan. Ahsan Iqbal also said to ensure the inauguration and shifting of the flight operations from the old airport to the new airport should be happening next year in March.

There are more plans to expand the flight operations from the Quetta airport this year, so the Balochistan’s connectivity with the Middle East can be enhanced with this step.“It will be a gift for the people of Balochistan on Pakistan Day,” he added.
