110 Schools To Be Constructed In Cholistan, Bahawalpur Division

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has taken this initiative to construct 110 new schools in the Cholistan region of the Bahawalpur Division. CM Punjab Hamza Shahbaz directed the PEF to build new schools in Cholistan. A meeting was held between the Managing Director, Cholistan Development Authority, Mahar Khalid, and the chaired person at the CDA office in Bahawalpur. The aim of this initiative is to enhance the current literacy rate and to provide job opportunities for individuals across the region.

Moreover, during the meeting, more information about the current schools was revealed. Around 140 schools are functional which includes the 109 Cholistan Community schools, 31 were mobile schools present in the region. The schools were increased to a total of 179 community schools and 71 mobile schools were also built within the region.
