Pakistan, KSA to Hold Business Forum in January

Pakistan is planning to hold the Pakistan Saudi Business Forum on January 14, 2026 in Riyadh with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the Federation of Saudi Chambers. The event will highlight investment ready joint venture (JV) opportunities in the power and clean energy sector. The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has asked the Ministry of Energy to provide company details and sector profiles by November 30, 2025 to prepare the Pakistan Energy and Petroleum Investment Portfolio 2026 for Saudi investors. However, Saudi officials have shown concern about delays in solving issues faced by existing Saudi investors in Pakistan. Pakistan has assured that its leadership is actively working to address these concerns and restore investor confidence.
