Pakistan Courts Turkish Companies to Boost Investment in Energy Sector
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met the Turkish energy minister and welcomed growing cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye, especially in the energy and petroleum sectors. He invited Turkish companies to invest more and praised Turkish Petroleum’s role in new offshore and onshore projects. Both sides agreed that a Pakistani ministerial team will soon visit Türkiye to explore further energy partnerships. Several agreements and MoUs on mining and petroleum blocks were signed. The Turkish minister also met the COAS, where both reaffirmed plans to deepen strategic and energy cooperation.
