Sindh government to begin construction of Red Line in July

The Sindh government confirmed that the construction of Red Line corridor in Karachi will be carried out in July with foreign assistance.  A total of US $500 million will be spent to build the 26 kilometers-long Red Line corridor at Naumaish Intersection and it will connect the Green Line corridor of BRTS. A cycling track will also be built along the corridor. According to the Chief Secretary, about 250 buses would operate on the Red Line corridor, and in order to make the bus operations environment friendly, bio-methane is going to be used as fuel for the purpose.
