KP-EZDMC Initiates Construction of 350 New Industrial Units
Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KP-EZDMC) is constructing an additional 350 industrial units.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KP-EZDMC, Javed Iqbal Khattak, emphasized the significant economic impact of these newly established factories in the economic zones. They have not only created employment opportunities for thousands of people but also contributed to the overall economic growth of the region. Furthermore, 350 more industrial units are under construction in various economic zones, promising further economic development.
Similarly, he said that work on Daraban Economic Zone, Buner Marble City, and Karak Salt and Gypsum City will also begin this year. KP-EZDMC has significantly advanced the province’s industrial sector, establishing 500 new industrial units with a PKR of 450 billion in investment over the past four years, creating thousands of jobs. “
Under Khattak’s leadership, nine industrial zones were established, yielding a revenue of PKR 10 billion. Of this amount, PKR 7 billion was allocated to development initiatives, with PKR 3 billion retained as profitable capital. KP-EZDMC’s initiatives have firmly placed the province on a trajectory of industrialization and economic advancement.
KP-EZDMC has made significant strides in advancing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s economy. The province is poised for continued economic growth and development through the establishment of new industrial zones, substantial investments, and efforts to create jobs.
