It’s here, first edition of KPL is all set to begin today
Thousands of fans are waiting for the Kashmir Premier League cricket match to kick off today for the first time at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium.
A total of five pitches has been prepared to host the match in which 22 high-definition cameras along with state-of-the-art floodlights have been installed.
For the first time in Pakistan, LED Flex technology, as well as drone cameras, will be used for the matches.
The management will place all players, management, and staff in the league’s bio-secure bubble in an effort to protect them from the novel Corona Virus.
The number of spectators has also been limited by the KPL management, and only those who are vaccinated will be allowed.
The premier will continue for 10 days from today till August 17. The league is comprised of six franchises in 18 matches that include Rawalakot Hawks, Kotli Lions, Muzaffarabad Tigers, Bagh Stallions, Mirpur Royals, and Overseas Warriors.
