Federal budget for new fiscal year to be presented today
All eyes are on the National Assembly as the PTI-led government will be presenting the federal budget for the fiscal year 2021-22 today.
With an outlay of Rs8 Trillion, the upcoming budget for the new fiscal year is likely to be pro-growth with more focus on increasing expenditures.
On that front, the budget goes around debt servicing, defense, and development. The government is likely to pursue an all-inclusive, sustained, and robust economic growth through planning.
Today, fiscal management, measures for economic stabilization and growth, reduction in non-development expenditures, revenue mobilization, job creation, boosting exports, and people-friendly policies for the socio-economic prosperity of the country will be featured.
